Our Story

CLK Creative Design: A Journey of Passion, Faith, and Family

As a little girl, I was captivated by the creativity of my baba and mom. They were always making something—whether it was painting, sewing, or restoring statues. Stains on their fingers, paintbrushes in hand, and sewing machines humming were constants in our home. Their passion for creating wasn’t just about the craft; it was about giving back to the community. My baba, in particular, spent countless hours restoring statues for her church, using her talents to bring beauty and grace to those around her. I admired her deeply, not just for her skill, but for her heart to help others. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be like her—creating, helping, and serving. Her faith was a guiding light in her work, and it inspired my own faith journey as well.

As I grew older, I discovered that same passion for making things. I began painting and designing, and I found joy and fulfillment in every creation. Then, after getting married, I realized my husband also had an incredible gift for using his hands to build and craft. Together, we shared a love for creation, and it became clear that we were meant to build something special together.

The idea of turning my passion into a business was thrilling. So, in the basement of our home, CLK Creative Design was born. I took a leap of faith, driven by the belief that creativity and passion could lead to something meaningful. The response was overwhelming—before I could even find my first customer, friends and family began asking to buy the plaques, vinyl decals, and custom products I was making. Their support encouraged me to take the next step. That was the moment I realized this could be something more—something I could build into a business that would touch the lives of others.

With excitement and determination, I took the leap into the online world, sharing my creations with a wider audience. Every day, I am reminded that I’ve found my true calling. The gifts my baba and mom passed down to me didn’t just give me the courage to start my own business—they gave me the ability to create things people love. What brings me the most joy is that I get to infuse every aspect of CLK Creative Design with my passion. I enjoy the creative process as much as the business side, and I love the connection I’ve built with my customers. My amazing husband and two sons are my constant support—they inspire me every day to keep going and keep creating.

But it’s not just my family that gives me strength. My faith in God is the foundation of everything I do. I believe that God answers prayers and provides strength for each step of this journey. One of my favorite Bible verses, "I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength," guides me as I walk by faith. It reminds me that with God’s guidance, there are no limits to what I can achieve.
